The Blood Tribe Recovery Community Facility will provide 75 beds to individuals suffering from addictions to support their journey to recovery. As the architectural consultant for this project and 3 other recovery community facilities in Alberta, FWBA worked to address necessary facility requirements dictated by Alberta Infrastructure while acknowledging the importance to adapt the design to best suit the needs of the Blood Tribe, who will own and operate this facility upon completion. The design of the community facility has relied heavily on feedback from the Blood Tribe community, with a representative and consultant of the community present at every meeting to bring feedback from community members to be incorporated in the design.
