Linden View

seniors care

Taber, Alberta

The Good Samaritan Society - Linden View 105-bed assisted living facility is located in Taber. The facility includes 64 assisted living and enhanced living units, 5 community support units and 3 12-bed dementia cottages. The phased plan allows for a 40-unit expansion as well as a future stand-alone Independent Living building in the Southwest corner of the site. Prudent and innovative planning, followed through by numerous community meetings, have set the stage for a successful project in a residential part of town. The bright, modern and efficient layout supports a positive home-like living environment for the residents.

"The Good Samaritan Society engaged FWBA Architects as Prime Consultant for assisted living facilities in both Raymond and Taber. We also experienced their work while the Good Samaritan Society participated as an advisor with a large facility they were designing for another provider. They are creative, collaborative and flexible designers who think carefully about the nuances of housing for seniors. FWBA ensured the best use of land/financial resources and most importantly, listened and attended to our needs from project concept to completion. Both the Good Samaritan Society facilities have been a success and are beautiful inviting homes for residents and their families."
